I have no problem with 'Stay at home and bake cookies !' Hell yeah, for sure I will, baking cookies will take me 1 hour if I'm slow, then I can watch television and do other easy women stuff, such as laundry, cleaning, maybe taking care of kids (They're at school 6-7 hours a day anyways.)
But sometimes I feel like girls (Not me, I'm totally alright with being seen as an object, very exciting ~ But only by my boyfriend :l) act like black people. I don't want to get racist, but black people have black pride day, black college, miss america for blacks only, but if we had white pride day, white colleges and miss white america, we'd surely be considered as racists. So yeah, my point is that when we start giving power to a group of people, they just want more.. I see what you're saying, but the reason why women shouldn't be treated as objects is because we aren't objects. We are humans, the same as men. Pets are treated as objects, servants are treated as objects. It's not about "staying home and cooking," it's about men seeing "our place" as being servants to their pleasures. It's about women finding an equal place in society with men -- and the only way to do that is to contribute to society (job) and take control of a valuable resource (money). Would you really want society to go back to the days where men were allowed to beat their wives? And you weren't allowed to choose who you wanted to marry, but your father "gave you" to some one? Women were property. The more women a man had, the wealthier he was. I wouldn't mind seeing that reversed. Where men are the property and women can accumulate men and dispose of them as they want.

But hey, that's just me.

The thing that really drives me insane, though, is when women say they want to be treated equally as men, and yet they ask for so much more.
You're saying women should be equal, and then you say that you would like to see men being treated as womens property.
That's not equal, now is it?
